New system launched on Ascham contract
Property Services has recently commenced a 15 year contract for Ascham Homes (the ALMO for the London Borough of Waltham Forest) for the delivery of a full responsive repairs and voids service including provision of a local call centre.
We are also responsible for the delivery of Ascham’s annual planned and cyclical works programme. The contract, which successfully went ‘live’ on 1April 2012, is being carried out across areas of East London and Essex providing services to more than 10,000 homes from our office in Walthamstow.
In the spirit of true collaborative working our office acts as a hub for Ascham staff and also as the operational base for Aston Heating Ltd who secure the full range of M&E services. This is facilitating close working relationships and that are driving effective and efficient practices to improve customer experience.
Earlier this year we made a significant investment in our IT systems and infrastructure, rolling out an innovative integration of market leading software that provides a ‘Best of Breed’ repairs management system. From the point of taking the call from the resident this unique system increases our ability to deliver Right First Time by ensuring that the right operative is sent to carry out the repair, with the right materials to do the job and at a time to suit the resident.
We are pleased to be working with Ascham Homes and their residents, who are becoming fully involved in the service, to help identify opportunities for bringing real benefits into the community.
