Osborne takes steps to improve safety

Many work sites can be hazardous, but sometimes just getting to and from them is a challenge in itself.

Osborne are working on the railway track at Yeovil in Somerset, at the top of a long and steep embankment, making it a less-than-ideal location. Working in partnership with one of our scaffolding suppliers, the team has come up with a suitable solution; the installation of steps.

A robust, wooden staircase has been built, giving ease-of-access to the trackside site. The stairs even include landings to break up the long climb or descent which, in itself, can be a hazard. Well done to the team for providing robust, safe access for the team.
