Osborne Helps New Affinity Sutton Repairs Team to ‘Hit the Ground Running’

Osborne has ensured 22,000 Affinity Sutton homes are in excellent condition as it hands over responsibility for their day-to-day repairs to the landlord’s new in-house team.

Osborne Property Services completed a two-year, repairs and voids contract for the London-based landlord at the start of May after taking on the work from Willmott Dixon.

During this period, Osborne ensured the service was stabilised with more repairs completed and that the time taken to turn around void properties was slashed by a week to 8.8 days.

In addition, Osborne has answered 205,061 calls and completed 131,051 jobs, with the number of jobs in progress being cut from 2,200 to 1,840.

This performance has allowed the new direct workforce set up by Affinity Sutton to take on the work, to hit the ground running.

Nick Sterling, Managing Director of Osborne Property Services, said: “We have pulled out all the stops to ensure the 22,000 homes we looked after were in the best possible shape for Affinity Sutton’s own team to take on this work. We have completed 23,183 responsive repairs and have addressed almost 1,000 complaints since January this year.”

Nick added: “We have thoroughly enjoyed our time working with Affinity Sutton and its customers. We wish the new in-house repairs service every success.”
