Osborne Completes Work on Surrey Schools

Osborne has completed construction work for Surrey schools, St Peter’s Primary School near Ashtead, and Hillcroft Primary School in Caterham.

The new £1.1million building works at Hillcroft have enabled the school to increase to a two form entry, all whilst the school remained operational.

Similar extension works took place at St Peter’s, where six new classrooms, toilets, and an extension to their much-loved playground were added to the existing school. This has enabled St Peter’s to expand from a one to two form entry.

Osborne began work at both schools in October 2014, and these works were carried out whilst the school remained operational.

The Osborne site team engaged with the children whilst undertaking the project, educating the children at school assemblies as well as giving monthly updates about the work. The site team organised site tours for the teachers and children, so they could learn about construction and to show them the building work taking place. 

Osborne received top marks in class as they received excellent feedback from the school, who gave them scores of 9/10 and 10/10 in every section of their end user survey.
