Osborne Completes West London Primary School Works

As part of a series of school projects in the Ealing area, the £10million project has seen Osborne refurbish and increase the capacity of Horsenden and Mandeville schools, both on the same site in Ealing, West London.

At Horsenden Primary School, Osborne has delivered a two storey steel frame building, with brick facade and velfac windows and louvers. Inside the school will be able to make use of eight new classrooms, group rooms, staff area and new toilets on both floors along with a new dining / sports hall.

Mandeville School, a school for children with special needs, is also a two storey structure, but as the school caters for children with autism, the internal layout is dramatically different.

Here Osborne has built nine specialist class rooms, a music room, dining hall and servery, adventure room and sensory rooms, as well as staff facilities, a library and hygiene rooms for all areas.

Externally, Osborne has landscaped the area around the school and has provided a new MUGA (Multi Usage Gaming Area) playground, including a soft play area and equipment.

Chris Creighton, Osborne Site Manager said: “We’re very proud of the work that we’ve completed at Horsenden and Mandeville Schools. The facilities are some of the best available and will provide a safe, enriching and interactive environment for the children in which to learn.”
