New Station Building Up and Watertight in One Week

Osborne has completed and handed over the first phase of works at Whitton Station in south-west London.
Working in partnership with Network Rail, the Osborne team has improved the station’s cycle facilities, as well as rebuilding the main station building. This has featured the use of SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) technology from Osborne’s subsidiary company, Innovaré, making Whitton the first station in the UK to be built using this method.
Hi-tech Hydro-demolition in St Albans

The ‘Little Mermaid’ continues it’s journey

It’s been an incredible year for the world-first underwater excavator, aptly named The Little Mermaid, and it’s only just the beginning of its journey.
Pioneered by Osborne and its partners at Suttle Projects, the innovative Little Mermaid is set to face the judges, along with other finalists, at next month’s British Construction Industry Awards in the Product Design Innovation Award for Civil Engineering.

Osborne to improve access at Godalming

As part of ongoing Network Rail upgrade works, Godalming station in Surrey is scheduled for a £3.1million renovation that will include the construction of a new fully enclosed footbridge, two 16 person lifts, larger bicycle shelters, new platforms and extended canopies. Part funded by the governments Access for All programme, when complete, the works will improve access to the station.
