Osborne Wins New Hampshire School Contract

Under the Hampshire Intermediate Construction Framework, Osborne has won the contract to expand Shakespeare Infant and Junior School in Eastleigh to increase the capacity of student places.

With the school spilt over two adjacent sites, the £3million project will see Osborne deliver a new four classroom block for the junior school and three classroom blocks for the Infant School. There will also be a new hall and internal alterations to both schools, using the latest technology.

Hampshire County Council is keen to incorporate sustainable and value-led design so the plans for these two schools will become a template to be used on future projects. This will save both time and money by incorporating standard features that will improve efficiency during the design development stage.

Winning this contract allows Osborne to build upon the positive relationships already forged with Hampshire County Council. Osborne have previously had success with other framework projects such as South Farnborough School, Crescent Primary School and the Vigo Infant and Junior School.
