Osborne in Line for Customer Service ‘Oscar’

Osborne has been named one of the top UK companies for customer service and could secure a coveted ‘customer commitment’ award at the annual Institute of Customer Service awards.

The ICS award ceremony takes place in London on 1 March and sees Osborne Property Services recognised for its excellent customer service alongside other nominees including Boots, Ocado and Virgin Money.

Graca Machado, Customer Experience Director at Osborne Property Services, said: ‘Being a finalist in the Institute’s annual customer service awards is a great achievement – these are the customer service Oscars!
‘I am very proud that the daily efforts of everyone across the business to go the extra mile for our customers has been recognised in this way.’

Osborne has worked hard in recent years on ensuring it provides a fantastic customer experience. As a result it has seen customer satisfaction with its services soar by a third in just two-and-a-half years.

A recent independent study by the ICS found Osborne’s overall customer satisfaction rating across a range of service areas assessed, is now 82.8 – up 20 points from when first assessed in January 2013.

Graca said that initiatives such as ensuring all employees and sub-contractors received ‘first impressions’ training, and running annual customer service roadshows were a crucial part of embedding the culture of a great customer experience.
