Day 4 of our 12 Repairs of Christmas- Hot Heights

Its our 12 Repairs of Christmas and we are talking the dizzy heights of our lofts!
Our top tip is to warm your loft- It may seem strange to think about keeping your loft warm – most of us just use it to store unwanted stuff, right?

But if it gets too cold up there, the pipes running from your water tank could freeze and burst.  And water damage is not something you want over Christmas!

You can prevent this happening by making sure your loft is well insulated and by putting lagging around the water tank and any pipes that are exposed.

If you’re going away, leave the loft hatch open to allow the warm air from the house to circulate in the attic space.
