Building Relationships and Providing Solutions at London School

The team at St Paul’s School in Barnes, London have made excellent progress on the new £20m Teaching Building and early completion is programmed for August 2017 to coincide with the start of new school year.
The team’s professionalism has overcome the challenges of constructing within a busy school environment.  From the logistics of planning safe and efficient ‘just in time’ deliveries, through to minimising noise and dust they have worked closely with the school to maintain high standards and safe school operation.

An essential element of success has been the trust established with the school community.  Working closely with them, guided site tours have been held for the junior and senior students to view ‘construction in action’ and to be inspired by architecture and engineering.  The feedback was extremely positive and the team are strengthening relationships and changing perceptions of Contractors!

The new teaching building forms part of a central courtyard feature for the prestigious St Paul’s School, nestling on a bend of the River Thames at Hammersmith.  High quality architectural finishes with exposed concrete columns and ceilings; internal wood panelling; and external glazing, are central to the vision and are being expertly crafted to meet the exacting requirements.  Along with the next phase, this modern addition will provide a stunning school hub and we will work openly with St Paul’s to ensure a smooth transition into operation.

So, together with the nearby £32m University of Roehampton Library, Osborne is dominating new build education facilities in the area.
