Residents Benefit from having 200th Kitchen Installed

Osborne which delivers repairs, maintenance and planned works for Waltham Forests council’s 12,500 homes, are celebrating installing the 200th kitchen this year within the borough.
Eileen, a resident of Waltham Forest for 27 years was the 200th resident this year to benefit from a new kitchen.  Our Customer Liaison Officer, Teresa and Site Manager Stephen worked with Eileen to ensure that her chosen kitchen specification was installed with minimum disruption.

Eileen commented; “Communication was very good with the whole team.  I am so delighted with my new kitchen and the quality is very good too. ”

To mark the celebration Chris Grace, Head of Building for Waltham Forest Council and Cllr Khevyn Limbajee went along to present Eileen with a bunch of flowers.

Cllr Khevyn Limbajee, Cabinet Member for Housing said: “It is wonderful to hear that the 200th kitchen has been installed for our residents. It is a key priority of the Council to ensure that everyone is able to live in good quality accommodation. Through our partnership working with Osborne we are able to provide a more responsive repair and maintenance service that is effectively meeting the needs of our residents.”

Osborne will continue to invest in improving the services it provides to customers to ensure it meets its ‘right first time’ service commitment and continues to decrease complaints. And it is an investment Osborne believes will pay longer-term dividends.
