The members of the Executive Committee are:
Mark Heasman MEng MBA - Chief Executive
Mark joined Osborne as Group Chief Executive in September 2006 and sits on the Group Board. He was previously a senior executive at RG Carter, Railtrack, American Express, the Royal Mail and the Prince's Trust. Mark is responsible for leading the business and ensuring it meets its strategic goals.
Andrew Osborne MA (Oxon) ACA - Group Corporate Development Director
Andrew is responsible for group strategy, corporate affairs, corporate responsibility and sustainability and business development. He is a chartered accountant and sits on the Group Board which he joined in 2000. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Charter plc.
Stephen Liddle - Executive Director
Stephen has held responsibility for Osborne's Homes and Property Services Divisions. He is currently Managing Director of the Construction Division and Investments business whilst leading Osborne's work on Public Private Partnerships. Stephen also sits on the Group Board which he joined in 1996.
John Crane FIHT - Managing Director, Civil Engineering
John joined Osborne in 1994 and has over 35 years civil/highways engineering experience. He has spent significant periods as a site engineer, site manager, estimator, contracts manager and regional manager and director.
Mike Cocks - Divisional Managing Director - Rail Division
Mike joined Osborne in 1986 having spent nineteen years with John Laing in their Civil Engineering Division.
He has been at the forefront of developing the Osborne Rail capability, and has recently driven through improvements in safety performance.
Tony Davies BSc (Hons) - Managing Director, Property Services
Tony joined Osborne in 2001 as the Divisional Managing Director for Property Services. He has worked in the construction industry for 40 years, starting his career with Laing as a graduate. In more recent years, he worked as a Group Director for ROK.
Peter Head - Managing Director, Homes Division
Peter joined Osborne in 1994 and became Managing Director of the Homes Division in 2002, after previously being appointed as Deputy Managing Director at the end of 1999. Prior to Osborne, Peter trained with John Laing as an Engineer before progressing to Project Management.
Phil Shortman - Managing Director, Construction Division
Phil joined Osborne in January 2008 after seventeen years with Wates, where he was responsible for construction in London and the South East, the last four and a half of which were as Business Unit Director.
Gordon Shepherd BSc Hons ACMA - Group Finance Director
Gordon joined Osborne in 1999 and is a chartered management accountant. He has responsibility for the financial management and control of the business. Prior to joining Osborne, Gordon was a management consultant with A T Kearney Ltd.
David Hatton BSc ACA - Company Secretary
David joined Osborne in December 2004 and has responsibility for pensions, legal and company secretarial matters. He previously held similar positions with Simon Group and Kenwood Appliances.
Derrick Louis MBA - Business Services Director
Derrick joined Osborne in April 2007 from Network Rail where he held senior management roles in Major Projects and Investment. During his career he has been the driving force behind several major change programmes and has considerable experience of leading large operational teams.
