I've been in the construction industry since I was sixteen. My father was a builder and I was encouraged to go through sixth form college and do my A levels. And from there I went on to university and did a degree in construction.
I've worked for several of the larger companies and I've been with Osborne now for two years. One of the things that interest me about the work I do for Osborne is their client base. We tend to work with clients who are going to use the building. We're not developer led, we're client led and that interests me because I like working with the client to develop a relationship with the client and the people who are going to use the building. It makes it feel more worthwhile - we're building something that you can see is going to be used.
Currently I'm on a £15m project over seventy weeks - it would be my ultimate ambition to be running someday a £30m or perhaps even £50m projects because I can see a time in the future when both Osborne's and myself will have projects of that size.
