Osborne Developments sector has been established to carry out property development on a ‘for sale’ or ‘retained investment’ basis.
On the A12 in Witham, Essex we have completed Rosewood Business Park which forms part of the popular Eastways industrial area. Rosewood provides 37,000 sq ft of B1, B2 and B8 floor space available in a variety of unit sizes. In Fareham just off J9 of the M27 we have just secured detailed planning consent for our site forming part of the well established Solent Business Park. Here we are proposing a high quality contemporary office development comprising 67,000 sq ft in two buildings. Our in-house development expertise also enables us to maximise the value of our own property holdings. Having relocated to more modern offices in Chichester we secured planning permission for redevelopment of our Stockbridge Road offices. It took some 12 months to secure planning and once developed The Canal Basin will provide an exclusive waterside housing development comprising sixty-nine apartments, including duplex apartments and seventeen town houses. As we do not carry out housing developments for sale the site has been sold to Linden Homes.
At Portfield Chichester we are working with an adjoining landowner promoting a comprehensive housing development of some 1000 units via the Local Development Framework planning process.
Other opportunities currently in the pipeline include health related and student accommodation projects.
We are prepared to consider most opportunities, especially those where our strong financial position and construction expertise brings added value, often enabling us to unlock the development potential of difficult sites. We are able to purchase from allocated funds without the recourse to third party funding.
