"We adopt a proactive problem solving approach that adds value to our clients." Peter Head, Sector Managing Director, Homes

New block of propertiesOsborne Homes Sector operates from offices in London, Reigate, Newport Pagnell and Chichester and delivers residential accommodation for a number of leading Registered Social Landlords and local authorities.

Our mission is to profitably create affordable, sustainable communities and homes, be they houses, flats, care homes, mixed use, key worker and intermediate rent accommodation, or housing for outright sale.

Understanding the market

We have a well established team, know our market, respect our clients’ needs and always approach business in a fair and flexible way. Our dedicated land department can source site opportunities for clients, and we also have in-house expertise in remediating and redeveloping the most challenging sites.

We have completed over 3,000 afforadable homes to date.

We are a partner on eight frameworks with large RSL’s in London and the South East and are well underway with two major PFI schemes to develop care homes and family facilities: the Young Herts scheme in Hertfordshire and Caring 4 Croydon - the redevelopment of four care homes for older people in the London borough.

Innovation

The varying nature of our housing projects has resulted in our team developing a high level of technical expertise, especially in modern methods of construction, sustainability and renewable energy such as Super E, and the Innovare Systems Structural Insulated Panel system. We are also extremely proud of our demonstration house at the BRE’s Innovation Park, which has high levels of sustainability and thermal efficiency well in excess of the points needed to achieve EcoHomes Excellent.

We strive to keep ahead of the Government’s agenda for sustainability and combating climate change, and are continually researching innovative ways to help our clients do the same.

We have extensive experience of a variety of solutions where renewable energy is required by our clients and/or planning departments. Our experience and delivery on site covers features such as: BioMass boilers, ground to air heat pumps and whole house heat recovery ventilation systems.

We are also delighted to be involved in a pilot scheme with Raven Housing Trust at Mid Street in Surrey developing two flats to Level 5 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
