Osborne is committed to meeting or exceeding clients’ expectations at all stages of the construction process. One way to achieve this is by ensuring that all our business practices match – or exceed – current best practice.
We have a company-wide Quality Management System that is registered with BSi Management Systems as conforming to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and we use EFQM Excellence Model principles to ensure that all stages of the business cycle are covered.
We monitor continual improvement in our performance on each project by gathering and analysing stakeholder feedback and scoring the results against key performance indicators. These KPIs are identified at the start of the project by the Group, the division responsible and the client.
By adopting a common approach to quality across all divisions within the Group, we are able to identify examples of best practice and spread these across all areas of the business. Last year we introduced Quality Circles - centres of excellence that are tasked with reviewing our management processes and procedures to ensure that they represent current and future best practice.
We are also keen to learn from best practice throughout the industry, and have representation on two BSi committees – one national and one international – which keeps us up to date with progress in the areas of standard development and industry at large.
