Since 2014, we have been in partnership with Dacorum Borough Council delivering a bespoke Total Asset Management service by not only utilising asset intelligence to inform the direction of investment strategies and housing priorities, but also by shaping our customers experience depending on their individual needs.

The strategic aims of TAM is directly aligned with Dacorum Borough Council’s Housing Business Plan and the corporate and housing priorities. Our collaboration and strategic integration has been imperative to achieve the benefits by successful implementation of the TAM strategy. Some of the identified benefits pertained to:

  • Smarter Asset Management
  • Seamless and shared IT Integration
  • Community Initiatives making a difference to residents
  • Improved Customer Experience
  • Less Duplication; roles and a collaborative TAM structure streamlining the service
Community Engagement

Community Engagement

The Partnership continues to develop real relationships that benefit local people; from contributing gardening vouchers in support of the Dacorum Annual Garden Competition to making improvements to communal garden areas within Elderly Persons Schemes. We continue to give our time and resources to a variety of initiatives; big and small.

We have developed a dedicated Community Investment Plan which addresses the areas of need within the borough. Working with residents, volunteers and with the support of local businesses we have made a significant impact to the community and the environment. We have made repairs to a communal BBQ, removed a dilapidated greenhouse and replaced with a brand new shed and carried out improvements to a Pergola. By building a raised bed at a sheltered scheme we have encouraged people to get out and be active; bringing people together – we know we are making a positive difference.

It is important for us to increase chances of local employability and by working with local colleges and job clubs our aims for future apprentices and work experience placements are now a reality.
