The Partnership continues to develop real relationships that benefit local people; from contributing gardening vouchers in support of the Dacorum Annual Garden Competition to making improvements to communal garden areas within Elderly Persons Schemes. We continue to give our time and resources to a variety of initiatives; big and small.
We have developed a dedicated Community Investment Plan which addresses the areas of need within the borough. Working with residents, volunteers and with the support of local businesses we have made a significant impact to the community and the environment. We have made repairs to a communal BBQ, removed a dilapidated greenhouse and replaced with a brand new shed and carried out improvements to a Pergola. By building a raised bed at a sheltered scheme we have encouraged people to get out and be active; bringing people together – we know we are making a positive difference.
It is important for us to increase chances of local employability and by working with local colleges and job clubs our aims for future apprentices and work experience placements are now a reality.
We endeavour to leave a positive, lasting legacy in Dacorum and provide exciting opportunities and beneficial support for the local community. If you are interested in getting involved, please email: email@example.com.
The Dacorum Osborne team take great pride with the help and investment we deliver in the local community. We proactively identify valuable local resources and organisations to support our residents.
