“As a learning organisation we strive to improve our services through direct feedback from, and interaction with, all the stakeholders with whom we work. From residents, council officers, council members and supply chain partners; effective feedback is the means by which we improve and determine the strategic direction of the Partnership.” James O’Donnell (Account Director)
The Partnership has worked hard over the last 5 years to build a collective vision for the benefit of the residents and various community groups within Waltham Forest. We have set out our strategy for community engagement which is based upon the specific needs of the communities within the Borough. We have developed a programme which promotes jobs, education and community initiatives. We are working with schools and community organisations to develop relationships and opportunities for local people, particularly in areas of need. If you are interested in getting involved please email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Excitingly, as part of our community investment, we have been actively supporting the Aldriche Way Tenants, Residents and Leaseholders Association (TRLA) in the re-opening of their community centre and helping to encourage greater community cohesion. We have been supporting this initiative by attending youth clubs, donating sports equipment and improving their facilities. Supporting community events and open days has enabled us to really get to know Alridche Way community.
We also place great importance on enhancing local employability chances. After building relationships with Learning Disability Experience (LDX) through community events, we were able to offer one young person with learning disabilities work experience, which has since led to full time employment as a Site Operative. We have also been working with local schools and the Education Business Partnership (EBP) to support career and educational events which introduce students to the world of work and help prepare them for their future search for employment.
Our ECO works have also formed a major part of our community investment in Waltham Forest. As part of the Ascham Energy Partnership, we have finished installing cavity wall insulation to the Burrell and Rayner towers to reduce our customer’s energy bills. At the Frederic Street Community Centre we have been reusing waste site materials to construct raised vegetable beds to help develop their nursery garden and encourage healthy eating.
We continue building and developing relationships in Waltham Forest to create opportunities for local people.
