Osborne Starts Work on Total Asset Management Contract

Osborne Property Services starts work today on its £236 million Total Asset Management contract for Dacorum Borough Council, Hertfordshire that includes housing repairs, planned refurbishment works, call centre services, technical services and strategic asset planning.

This contract is the first of its kind in the market place and will run for an initial five years with the opportunity for extension on an annual rolling basis.

The services will be delivered to the Council’s 10,500 homes throughout the Borough and has been designed to use the repairs data to supplement stock condition information, so that investment can be targeted at those areas most in need.

The new service will be delivered using a term partnering contract and some of the Council’s staff will co-locate with Osborne’s team along with key supply chain partners to maximise the benefits of closer working relationships and reduce any duplication of cost and effort.

Nick Sterling, Managing Director for Osborne Property Services said: “Osborne has been busy mobilising the new contract, so that we will become truly embedded with Dacorum in helping shape and deliver the exciting plans they have for the benefit of the whole borough. We are excited to be intrinsically involved in this unique approach and look forward to working closely with Dacorum and seeing the communities feel real benefit.”
