Osborne Highly Commended at Sussex Heritage Trust Awards

Following on from its success at the Institute of Civil Engineers’ Awards, the Adur Ferry Bridge in Shoreham-by-Sea has once again been recognised.

The bridge, which was officially opened in November 2013, earned a ‘Highly Commended’ in the Public and Community category at the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards.

The ceremony was held at the Pangdean Old Barn in Pyecombe in Brighton and rewards projects of high quality conservation and restoration and good design.

The Public and Community award places particular importance on those projects which improve facilities for the local community.
