Osborne Goes Back to School

Even though schools are about to break up for the summer holidays, Osborne is already doing its homework ready for the Autumn term.

Osborne are conducting presentations for pupils explaining the importance of safety, both as part of project requirements and also to schools who are in close proximity to sites. The presentation has two versions – one for over eight-years-old and one for under eights. Both require volunteers from the audience who get to dress up in suitably-sized Osborne PPE, adding a memorable fun element to help underscore the serious message.

The younger pupils are given a simple message of ‘Keep Out’, whereas the older pupils receive a slightly more serious message with the consequences, along with an additional HSE (Health and Safety Executive) film called ‘Game Over.’

Osborne has received feedback from past presentations and this has been extremely positive, with the programme proving beneficial with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
