Osborne Starts Work on £80million Masterplan

Osborne has begun works to create new student accommodation on campus at the University of Roehampton in south west London.

Osborne is constructing this project as part of a £58million investment by the University to create a new landmark library and student accommodation buildings. The completed project, together with other halls of residence also being developed are intended to confirm Roehampton as one of the most modern and attractive, university campuses in London.

Dr Ghazwa Alwani-Starr, Director of Estates and Campus Services at the University of Roehampton, said:

“Our students’ surroundings are key to their university experience so we’re planning the biggest regeneration of the heart of our campus for decades. Working with Osborne, within three years, we will have attractive, modern, on campus accommodation and a library befitting our status as a growing university with internationally-recognised research.

“This is significant investment which will allow Roehampton to continue to improve and provide a great teaching and learning atmosphere as our reputation continues to grow. That is good news for our students and staff, and for the surrounding neighbourhood where the University plays such a significant role.”
