Osborne Collaboration Recognised at ICS UK Customer Satisfaction Awards

Osborne is delighted to announce its success at this year’s Institute of Customer Service’s (ICS) UK Customer Satisfaction Awards.

Osborne saw off tough competition including Homebase, Prudential and Boots UK to win the Customer Service Co-Creation/Collaboration category for its work at Tavistock Infant School in Fleet, Hampshire.

The awards ceremony was held at London’s Hilton Hotel on Tuesday 3 March, following the Institute’s industry-leading Annual Conference.

Andy Burrows, Business Improvement Manager at Osborne said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won the award last night, especially as we were up against such a wide range of  finalists.  It really shows that we at Osborne truly do understand and demonstrate exceptional customer service.”

The UK Customer Satisfaction Awards are the only customer service awards run by the professional body for customer service and are judged by industry experts, business leaders and academics, recognising individuals and organisations that have implemented successful customer service strategies. In particular, the Customer Service Co-Creation/Collaboration award highlights where an organisation has collaborated with another organisation to deliver exceptional customer service.

Osborne’s Tavistock Infant School project success came about as a result of the close working relationship the project team developed with the school. As such, this enabled the scheme to be completed eight weeks ahead of schedule in September 2014, allowing the students to use their brand new facilities when they returned after the summer holidays; as opposed to the October half term.

Furthermore, the school marked the project as ten out of ten in all aspects of the Improvement & Efficiency South East (iESE) End User Survey.

Osborne’s latest success with the ICS comes just a matter of weeks after the announcement that two of its key business sectors – Construction and Property Services – have been awarded the Institute’s prestigious ServiceMark accreditation.
