Avondale Square already receiving positive feedback
Osborne has already received positive reports from its customer on the site management of the Avondale Square Community Centre redevelopment in London.
Osborne started work on the £6.8 million Redevelopment in Southwark last month, and is due to complete in May 2016. Osborne’s site so far has been commented on by the City of London for being clean and well managed.
The overall project requires demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of a new seven-storey development comprising of a Community Centre, Estates Office and 18 flats.
The new Community Centre will be a double-storey height space with mezzanine floor, offering much needed flexible space for the local residents. The building will also include a new modern and larger Estates Office for the whole of the Avondale Estate.
It scheme also intends to provide a ‘Pocket Park’ designed with the local community with support from the Mayor of London’s community initiative.
The site is situated within the existing Avondale Square Estate in Southwark, and is run by the City of London Corporation.
