Kingfisher Court Announced Project of the Year at Design in Mental Health Awards

Osborne and P+HS Architects scooped Project of the Year at last night’s (Tuesday 19 May) Design in Mental Health Awards, held in Birmingham.

The £31million Kingfisher Court facilities were designed by P+HS Architects and built by Osborne under the ProCure21 Framework. The project was completed in autumn last year, with service-users moving in to the facilities in November 2014.

The Kingfisher Court acute mental health facility, which was built for Osborne’s customer, Hertfordshire Partnership NHS University Foundation Trust, was shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Design in Mental Health Awards; Project of the Year and Service-User Experience.

Project of the Year is awarded to a scheme which is visually interesting, sustainable and has demonstrated exceptional team-working and problem-solving.
