Osborne in Christmas Charity Drive

Osborne has raised a combined donation of £800 for Southampton City Mission, a charity that helps run food and clothes banks throughout Southampton.

With Christmas approaching, Osborne wanted to give something back to the community. Working with the supply chain involved in Chamberlain Halls project, Osborne were able to present the donations to Chris Davis MBE, founding member of the charity, in time for Christmas.

Osborne are currently working with the University of Southampton, delivering the £24million Chamberlain Halls student accommodation project, replacing the old Chamberlain Hall, constructed in 1958, which stood until 2013.

The new halls will include 356 new student bedrooms, offering excellent accommodation options for the University’s students, whilst helping to reduce pressure on the city’s private rented sector.

Jim McCormick, Osborne Project Manager said: “Being able to donate nearly £1000 worth of food and money to Chris Davis and Southampton City Mission was fantastic. I’d like to pass all my thanks to everybody from Osborne and our supply chain, who have supported the charity with donations.”
