Savings Board to Celebrate Efficiencies

Working more efficiently and thinking of different ways of doing things to save money is always something we strive to do in the industry.

Through thinking differently, Jon Millar, one of our project managers has come up with a great concept to raise financial awareness across his site teams and ensuring that “looking after the pennies” is considered in the decision making at all stages.

Obvious – maybe – but all too easy to overlook the little things.

Jon is encouraging his team to think differently by taking the approach “what if that was my money?”  Jon’s Improvement Opportunity is to use a “Savings” whiteboard which is being deployed across the site offices.

A recent example  was the reuse of Heras fencing and purchasing certain equipment instead of hiring it  has saved  money within the first week alone.
