Banging the Drum for Next Generation of Budding Engineers

Passionate about promoting careers in Engineering, Osborne took part in the Big Bang Fair.
The Big Bang Fair is a week long event across various locations in London.

This is where school children go to learn and engage in various STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) workshops and information stands designed to inspire the next generation of civil engineers.

Osborne’s Trainee Engineer Ted Nichols, along with three other members of ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers) were there to run an interactive stand designed to get the children thinking about the fundamentals of structural engineering.

Ted said; “The day was a tremendous success. It was very fulfilling watching the potential future generation of engineers being inspired, I hope that after their experience, they will consider a career in civil engineering.”
