New Flagship Library for London University Progresses Well

Work on Royal Holloway University, the state of the art £42m library facility is progressing on all fronts.
The reinforced concrete frame is now in place, and installation of the striking copper cladding and glass is underway.

With the building water tight by December, the internal work will step up another gear to hit the spring completion date.

The logistics of constructing this iconic building on a busy campus has been challenging.

The site team have engaged with their university community to minimise disruption and develop a building which sits comfortably within its historic surroundings.
