Flexibility of Design is key to Delivering Customer Needs

Flexibility is the name of the game, as Innovare show how important it is to reach new heights in Offsite Construction, by using their i-SIP System which is capable of delivering double and triple ceiling heights leaving other modular construction systems behind in their offering.
Uniquely specialist contractor- Innovare design, engineer, manufacture and install the i-SIP System giving them the expertise and flexibility to accommodate a more extensive range of project requirements, simplifying offsite construction processes and saving customers both time and money

Working with architects Maber and main contractor Interserve, Innovare built the Kings CE School structure in just 13 weeks, the new school  has the capacity for 900 pupils and includes a large atrium, lecture seating in the hall, a four-court sports hall and dance studio. There is also a dedicated study and lecture rooms for sixth form students and a range of facilities opened up to the community, including a training bistro and hair and beauty salon.  The Kings CE was the last of a batch of eight schools Innovaré delivered for Interserve using the i-SIP full structure System.

The scheme is distinctive for its use of minimal steel support. Value engineering of the steel frame reduced cost and thermal modelling allowed Innovaré to design junction details with minimal thermal bridging.

The end result was an airtight, thermally efficient envelope across the whole building. Double length i-SIP panels were designed and installed to create the height for the atrium and additionally any differential movement usually experienced by timber buildings was removed through the use of the i-SIP System in this three storey structure.

Innovare continues to work successfully within the education sector with several projects in progress; we look forward to reporting on the finished results within the coming months.
