Osborne Scoops ‘Project of the Year- Buildings’ for Second Year in a Row

Osborne has bagged the award for “Project of the Year – Buildings” for Mercers Walk, at the Constructing Excellence in London and the South East Awards 2017.
This is the second consecutive year that Osborne has won this award.

Mercers Walk, which completed in November 2016 was a £22m mixed use project providing retail and residential space across five buildings in the heart of Covent Garden. Designed by Ian Ritchie Architects, the project has created an exciting new public space, linked by a central piazza and demonstrated good working relationships, delivery on time, low environmental impact, customer satisfaction and high levels of best practice and innovation.

The judges commented that; “Osborne delivered a remarkably complex project with outstanding outcomes despite its challenging location and associated restrictions. An honest approach by a ‘proper family building company’ resulted in a sustainable relationship with the client’s team.”

Congratulations to all involved including The Mercers’ Company, Hanover Cube LLP, Ian Ritchie Architects, Deloitte, KJ Tait Engineers and Fairhurst GGA.
