Collaborating to Highlight Serious Issue on Construction Sites

In their first videoed collaboration, RVT Group and Osborne promote good practice in safe and efficient dust control methods on construction sites.
RVT’s video demonstrates the range of effective dust control methods available, with the aim of educating site workers on the need to ensure the correct equipment is used for any dust-generating tasks. For the shoot, RVT provided the specialist equipment, whilst Osborne provided the site location in Walthamstow, London.

Jay Johnston, Head of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) at Osborne said; “We are really pleased be collaborating to help highlight this serious issue. Controlling dust is a real issue within the construction industry and one that is often overlooked. It’s estimated that more than 500 construction workers die from exposure to silica dust every year – that’s more than 10 per week.”

Tim Dupont, Marketing Director at RVT said;
“We were very privileged to have this opportunity to work with Osborne and are grateful for their support in this project. In working together with a key main contractor such as Osborne, we can achieve our shared goal of making sites safer in the UK for our workforce.”
