Best Value Piling at Wimbledon Depot

The Osborne team who have been working on the Wimbledon Depot Shed Extensions are achieving best value from their piling works by carrying out pile load testing.
Load testing provides greater certainty on how the pile will actually perform in the ground and hence allows a lower factor of safety to be used in the design.

By carrying out the load testing at Wimbledon Depot, the team were able to reduce the pile lengths by 2m, resulting in time and cost savings and ultimately value for their customer.
