Osborne Introduces Mental Health First Aiders

Working with Mind, the Samaritans and Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, Osborne are rolling out a series of Mental Health Awareness actions as part of the industry-wide ‘Mates in Mind’ campaign.
To support their employees, Osborne has now trained 25 Mental Health First Aiders from across the business to help encourage people to talk more freely about mental health, reduce stigma and create a more positive culture.

Mental health issues are a normal part of life; in any one year approximately 1 in 4 people experience at least one diagnosable mental health issue.

Last week, Osborne signed an employer pledge with ‘Time to Change’, the growing social movement run by charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness which supports people to open up to mental health problems.

By signing, Osborne is committing to change the way we all think and act about mental health in the workplace.
