Innovare Shortlisted in Offsite Awards 2018

Well done to Innovare, who have been shortlisted Offsite Awards 2018 for the Best use of Hybrid Technology & Education Project of the Year.

Greatfields School,  in Barking combines the Innovare i-SIP System with precast concrete floors, this is the first time this combination of offsite technologies have been used and enabled the complete construction of 20 classrooms for Zone 1 of the Greatfields School project in just 7 months; 6 weeks earlier than expected.  Main contractor Mid Group and  Innovare are now working on several more projects.

Clements School, Haverhill was never built for expansion, so access and programme constraints meant that the i-SIP System was the ideal solution for the school’s needs. Less than 10 deliveries saw the structure on site ready for erection.  The build was completed and in operation ready for September 2017 and was awarded Perfect Delivery by main contractor Morgan Sindall.

The Offsite Awards celebrate the best in precision building design and delivery at the Offsite Awards. The Awards will reward outstanding examples of prefabrication and factory-based methods, products, systems and disciplines that increasingly strive to develop a sustainable, streamlined and cost-effective way to deliver a better built environment.

Other industry giants who made it to the shortlist include Atkins and Willmott Dixon.

The awards will take place in March 2018.
