Osborne Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

Osborne is marking the 11th National Apprenticeship Week (5-9 March) by recognising the success of its apprentices in gaining new skills and experience.

Apprenticeship participation now stands at a record level nationally, and Osborne Communities are proud to support more than 30 apprentices across its business.

Now in its fourth year, the Osborne Apprenticeship Awards acknowledge the commitment, dedication and development of its apprentices throughout the past year.

In keeping with this years’ theme, the awards also recognise mentors, whose support and guidance make ‘apprenticeships work’.
Currently over 90% of apprentices go into work or further training, with Osborne a committed member of the 5% Club, which ensures that a minimum 5% of employees are apprentices.

Nick Sterling, Executive Director at Osborne Communities, said: “Osborne is committed to supporting people in gaining skills and experience that enhance their careers and National Apprenticeship Week and our Apprentice Awards are a great opportunity to recognise this.

“We are very clear in our responsibility to help train and support the next generation of construction professionals through our dedicated full time Training and Development Coordinator and mentors.”
