Osborne Community Investment Manager wins Award

Osborne Community Investment Manager Neal Allison has been recognised for his outstanding commitment and passion in supporting a local charity with The Mayor of Winchester’s Community Award.

The Mayor’s Awards recognise and celebrate the organisations and individuals who give outstanding service to the people and places of the Winchester District.

Nominated by Trinity Winchester, which aims to address the effects of homelessness and vulnerability through specialist practical and emotional support, the citation reads:
‘Trinity Winchester has nominated Neal, for his endless commitment and passion towards working with many of our most vulnerable clients. He regularly holds mock interviews in the job club at Trinity, supporting people back into work and helping them overcome their nerves in a real life situation. Neal couldn’t possibly stop there, he was also instrumental in organising our Christmas party for over 80 people, supplying presents, party food, all served with a huge lashing of his effervescent personality. He is a breath of fresh air, a whirlwind of energy and should be recognised for routinely going above and beyond the call of duty in his paid employment. Thank you Neal, you are a Community Champion.”

Well done Neal, pictured receiving the award from The Mayor of Winchester, Cllr David McLean last month, for this hugely deserved recognition.
