Topping Out at Crown Place Portsmouth

Osborne has reached new heights by building the tallest building in its 50 year history. Crown Place is a 23 storey student accommodation building in Portsmouth, constructed for Crown Student Living.

We recently celebrated the topping out of the building a year to the day from the first pile on site.

Director of Crown Student Living, Alan Pulver, said, “As we’ve watched the building grow, the project has been getting better and better all the time. Thank you to Osborne, our consultants, subcontractors and the whole building team. We are very proud, and we hope Osborne is as proud too of Crown Place.”

This is the second student accommodation project that Osborne has built for Crown Student Living and is due for completion in August 2018.

The £36 million project will offer 576 beds to students attending the University of Portsmouth, as well as an in-house gym, social spaces and study areas.
