Osborne Scoops Silver Accolade for Bridge Replacement Work

Osborne has scooped a silver accolade from Network Rails’ Route to Gold initiative, for its work on the Fairfield Road Bridge replacement in Wandsworth.

Route to Gold is a performance measurement initiative which aims to promote collaborative working behaviours, reduce costs caused by re-work and embed a culture of continuous improvement within the rail industry.

Network Rail scores their supply chain on the quality of products delivered, on projects and the behaviours associated with these. This is measured through information collated by the Network Rail Construction Managers.

The Osborne Wandsworth Team, worked tirelessly over Easter during a 100 hour blockade, to safely and successfully replace the life-expired Fairfield Road Under-bridge.

The original four track bridge was replaced with four separate single span steel “U-decks” – all made possible through our collaborative working, the commitment and professionalism of all our people, including our customer and specialist supply partners.
