Osborne takes part in Mental Health Awareness Week
Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 takes place from 14 – 20 May 2018 and this year is all about stress and how we are coping with it.
Research has shown that two thirds of us experience a mental health problem in our lifetimes, and stress is a key factor in this. By tackling stress, we can go a long way to tackle mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, and, in some instances, self-harm and suicide.
We all know what it’s like to feel pressure – it’s part of everyday life.
But when you’re overwhelmed by pressure it may lead to stress and mental health problems or make existing problems worse.
Mental Health Awareness Week 2018 is a great time to think about how we can all address the causes of work-related stress.
Osborne are holding Mental Health Mini Drop-in Sessions across their sites and offices. Each session will take place with Mental Health First Aider volunteers, so people can just pop-in for an informal chat.
