Osborne Respond to Rail Embankment Issue

Osborne have recently helped out in a rapid response situation at Withy Beds, near Cobham in Surrey.

There was a rough ride reported by train drivers and upon inspection a bulge had appeared at the toe of the rail embankment.  Our team, including our supply chain partners mobilised within 24 hours, attended site and agreed a permanent solution involving the installation of sheet piles.

We successfully undertook the main installation works during a blockade during the early May Day Bank Holiday and the track was re-opened. Well done to all involved!
