Teeing off in aid of Shooting Star Chase

Helping to support amazing causes and make a difference gives us an enormous sense of pride. Last week, with the help of our people and supply chain we raised an incredible £11,788.75 at the Osborne Charity Golf Day in support of Shooting Star Chase!

Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They receive limited backing from the government and heavily rely on the goodwill of people and organisation to keep providing leading hospice care.

Broma Patel, their Corporate Development Manager, said:

“A huge thank you to all at Osborne for raising such an impressive amount. It costs £10 million every year to enable us to provide the highest level of care, so having the support of generous companies like Osborne and their supply chain is crucial in helping continue our vital work – which just wouldn’t be possible without our supporters!”

Chris Hickman, Project Lead for the Solum Twickenham Station project and founder of the Osborne Charity Golf Day, said:

“I know first-hand what it feels like to have a child in a hospice and if it wasn’t for charities like Shooting Star Chase to be able to do what they do, families and children wouldn’t have the outstanding care and support they need. Each donation is significant – no matter how large or small – and I want everyone to know how much I appreciate their generosity and the many hearts they will touch. Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart.”

At Osborne we are driven by leaving a lasting legacy and the foundations for future success. Every day, with every project, we renew our commitment to our communities, our people and the environment and the money raised for Shooting Star Chase is an example of just that. Thank you to everyone at Osborne and in our supply chain for their generosity.
