Osborne Strengthens its Learning and Development Team

Osborne has continued its exciting period of growth with the appointment of Sharon Njini, as Senior Learning and Development Manager.

Sharon joins Osborne from Virgin Atlantic, where she held a variety of senior level Learning and Development roles. Most recently, Sharon was responsible for the strategic design and delivery of performance management across Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays.

Speaking about her new role at Osborne, Sharon commented:
“It is a fantastic and exciting time to be joining the team at Osborne. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in. One of my key areas of focus is the launch and roll out of a Learning Management System (LMS). Having an LMS means we are able to widen access to learning and development for all of our people, enabling them to take ownership for learning and planning ways to improve their skills and knowledge. Everyone will have access to learning anywhere and anytime with the added benefit of it being mobile compatible. This new system is a fantastic technological step forward, allowing us to align our training resources more effectively and efficiently.
I look forward to sharing my experience to help shape the learning opportunities and solutions for our people, enabling them to be at their best to ensure we continue to go from strength-to-strength.”

Sarah Taylor, Group People Director at Osborne said; “We are very pleased to have Sharon on board with us and in such a vital role. Sharon brings a wealth of external knowledge and experience and this will help us to build on and continue on our journey as a learning organisation.”
