Football Fever

For the last two weeks each May, Peterborough Football Club opens its pitch to the public, so it made perfect sense for the Capital Delivery Framework team based at the Abax stadium to hire the pitch for an evening and for Osborne to challenge Highways England and Jacobs to a friendly match.

The pitch was booked for Friday 25 May.  Invitations were sent and teams were assembled.  To match the occasion, the teams had use of the changing rooms and made their entrance, running onto the pitch to the Champion’s League theme.

After 90 minutes of play, the score was 3-3.  Following penalties the score was 5-4 to the Highways England-Jacobs team.  The match was followed by refreshments and drinks
