Resident Secures Voluntary Position

A local resident, David Daniels approached Osborne for help and now has a voluntary placement with them at their Hastings site, where Osborne is working for Optivo.

David is gaining valuable experience and completing his NVQ Level 2 in plumbing.

David said: “Optivo has helped me to get in the door with Osborne and secure a voluntary position, I felt employers would go for someone younger because of my age, I think it’s great Optivo and Osborne don’t discriminate and take on older people. Osborne will help me gain experience with tools, customer service, real work and most importantly helping me complete my NVQ level 2 plumbing. I’m really grateful for everything they’ve done for me!”
