A23 Team Actions make Road Safe

Commendations to our team, including our supply partners working on the A23 who took great action following a road traffic accident, prioritising safety and social responsibility over production.

The Traffic Management Crew instantly set all lights to red to make the scene safe, whilst others assisted the members of public by taking them to a place of safety until the police arrived.

The works on site were stood down and all parties assisted in clearing the carriageway and worked with the police to clear the vehicles.

They also switched the traffic management layout so that all the vehicles involved in the incident were contained within the traffic management to enable the road to open as quickly as possible to get the traffic flowing again. Well Done to all involved!
