Osborne Gains ISO 45001 Accreditation

Osborne has successfully gained accreditation to ISO 45001.

This is the international standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management systems and replaced its predecessor OHSAS 18001.

The key changes form the old to the new standard put much more emphasis on senior leadership engagement, which is a key business value for Osborne.

In addition, the certification body DNV GL also commented, that Osborne is their first customer to successfully transition to the new standard.

Osborne is one of few companies in the industry which has had its management systems (for safety, health, environment and quality) certified to all the new standards.  This supports Osborne’s ethos to be leaders in SHEQ in the market place, making the full transition nearly three years ahead of the required timescale.

Andy Steele CEO at Osborne said; “This accreditation gives our customers the assurance that our management systems are robust and shows Osborne’s commitment to continuous improvement in SHEQ performance.”
