Rosie enjoys the sun in St Leonards

Osborne mascot Rosie proved a big hit as Osborne supported a free Fun Day for residents hosted by our partners Optivo at the Hollington Bowl in St Leonards last month.

In perfect summer sunshine, more than 200 residents joined the fun which included a bouncy castle, inflatables, face painting and crafts.

Last September, Osborne Communities commenced a 10 year deal with Optivo to provide property services to over 7,000 homes around Hastings, sharing office space on the outskirts of the town.

Supervisor Gavin and Planner Rhys kept visitors at a busy Osborne stand entertained with a ‘Beat the Buzzer’ challenge, a lolly lucky dip and a colouring competition, whilst Rosie joined some new friends in visiting the JawsandClaws mobile zoo.

The event is part of a number of Community activities being organised by Optivo’s Resident Involvement Team throughout the summer in Hastings, St Leonards and surrounding areas.

Osborne Planner Rhys Williams said: “I had a great time at the Fun Day.

“It was lovely to see and meet residents in person and not just as voices on the end of a phone or names on a time sheet.

“It also allowed us to be seen as people too and part of the community.”

Optivo Resident Involvement Manager Graham Morrow said: “I was really impressed with your team and enthusiasm from beginning to end – despite all the activities we had there you still managed to add value to the event.”
