Osborne Gain Silver Site Status

Osborne’s Axe Valley site in Devon has earned itself a silver site in the recent Network Rails ‘Route to Gold.’

Route to Gold is a performance measurement initiative within the IP Southern supply chain. The initiative aims to promote collaborative working behaviours, reduce costs caused by re-work and embed a culture of continuous improvement within the rail industry.

Thank you and congratulations to the Osborne team at Axe Valley who safely completed their nine day blockade ahead of programme over a weekend, installing 80m of culverts beneath the Exeter mainline to alleviate the flooding risk.

The safe and timely completion of this work has shown the fantastic levels of collaboration between the teams to deliver such a challenging project.
