WebContractor helps Osborne

WebContractor is being used and is having a positive impact at Osborne, saving time and money.

Osborne is using WebContractor, which is a cloud based, online application for payment system which is used to manage the applications for payment submitted by subcontractors.

Feedback from Osbornes’ supply chain partners so far has been positive. They feel that it is easy to use and the process is more transparent and it is easy for them to see where their applications are in the approval process.

Mark Mitchell, Operations Finance Director at Osborne said; “We are now using the system on 47 projects with over 260 subcontract orders placed via WebContractor and the uptake from both our commercial teams and subcontractors has been really good. Part of our commitment to industry best practice is the delivery of efficient processes for both our own teams and our subcontractors and WebContractor is key to helping us achieve this in the application for payment space. The continued roll out of the solution will see it used across all our operations businesses where we expect to see the benefits of the streamlined processes and comprehensive reporting reflected in savings in time and money.”

The continued development of additional functionality will also help improve efficiencies even further.
